Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to help deliver our regulatory responsibilities as the Enforcement Authority for the Reservoirs Act 1975 in England. The Reservoirs Act helps to ensure the safe operation and management of dams. This is a part-time job share (22.2 hours per week).
You will join the Environmental Assessment and Reservoir Regulation department, within the Flood & Coastal Risk Management (FCRM) Directorate. The Reservoir Regulation team is a nationally dispersed team responsible for regulating the more than 2140 large raised reservoirs in England. Some travel and overnight stays will be required.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day correspondence
* Record incoming documentation on the database to ensure records are accurate and up to date
* Encourage compliance when reports or certificates are not received as expected
* Be the first point of contact for reservoir owners and panel engineers
* Provide information and advice on the requirements of the Reservoirs Act 1975

Additional Information
This role is national; you can be based at any Environment Agency office. Some travel and overnight stays may be required.
