Your New Role In your role as a Junior Accounts Assistant you will be supporting Purchase ledger with data reconciliation, statements reconciliation, accurate and timely turnaround of invoices, and other ad hoc tasks. Responsibilities Reconciliation of Costs on a parcel level Analysis of variances – Rates / Weights Identifying charges outside of the cost base and passing them on to relevant customers Raising queries with suppliers Processing invoices for payment in a timely manner Supporting finance / commercial team with any other activity as and when required Preferred Skills/experience Excellent attention to detail Motivation: Focused and self-motivated, task completion/tenacity, ability to work without close supervision Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, mainly Outlook and Excel Ability to work under pressure Ability to work by yourself as well as part of the team Excellent communication manners What You'll Get in Return In return, you can expect to be given considerable responsibility for implementation, and work closely with a small leadership team where your efforts and success will be noticed.
