We have an exciting opportunity to join our Email Marketing team on a Permanent basis. This opportunity is like no other where you will drive high-impact revenue growth by co-piloting our email strategy with the Email Marketing Manager. You will lead in the day to day ideation, creation, delivery and optimisation of schuh's trading email campaigns, store communications, and Loyalty BAU communications. In addition to this you will work alongside the CRM team to ensure customers are receiving best in class email communications, whilst leveraging new technologies in order to increase loyalty and give the brand a competitive advantage
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Day to day campaign management including but not limited to creation, implementation, testing, deployments, and reporting of Email Marketing BAU campaigns
* Contribute to the ideation, implementation, and delivery of a customer centric, data driven, Email Marketing calendar to enhance customer engagement and ultimately drive revenue through email
* Monitor and adjust the email marketing calendar and send plans in response to weekly and periodic trading performance.
* Produce weekly and campaign-wide reports, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations to optimise ongoing campaigns
* Analyse and identify trends to share and recommend upcoming emails/marketing activity that our customer will engage with
* Analyse campaign and audience performance of successful campaigns as well as troubleshoot campaign performance issues if necessary
* Analyse campaign and audience performance to identify optimisation opportunities, and proactively troubleshoot underperforming campaigns.
* Plan and execute A/B tests across subject lines, content, personalisation, and send times, or any other relevant data/metrics, using results to drive incremental improvements in engagement and revenue
* Work closely with the wider CRM team to create and refine targeted customer segments based on behaviour, purchase history, preferences, or other relevant information.
* Owning personalised dynamic content with our suite of third party tools (Salesforce, Movable Ink, Litmus, Wunderkind)
* Monitor and report back on competitors keeping up-to-date with the market, ensuring schuh maintains its unique positioning
* Work cross functionally with other digital channels and teams to deliver campaigns and content correctly and on time
* Stay updated on latest industry trends, best practice, and GDPR policies to continually improve email marketing
* Be an ambassador for schuh communicating our brand DNA and purpose confidently to our customers
Experience & Background:
* 1-2 years' experience in CRM, email marketing, or digital marketing
* Experience building and deploying campaigns within a CRM platform, preferably Salesforce
* Organised, Proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities
* Data driven, analytical, problem solver with experience in building data driven segments
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and have a flexible approach to comms changes
* HTML/Email coding experience is desired but not required
* Strong understanding of email KPIs and performance analysis
* Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
* Curious, proactive and commercially aware
* Experience with Movable Ink (or other dynamic content platforms) is desirable but not essential
