Senior Commercial Manager (PR/007195)
Location: Oxfordshire
Role Type: Hybrid – 1-3 days onsite
Salary: £85,000 + bonus + strong benefits package
I’m currently supporting a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Commercial Manager to join a highly innovative, technology-led defence organisation operating in a complex, international environment.
This is a key role where you’ll take ownership of commercial strategy, contract management, and risk mitigation across a diverse project portfolio. You’ll be working closely with senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making and driving best-in-class commercial practices.
Key Highlights
* Lead on contract negotiations and commercial governance
* Manage in-life agreements & secure next phase of contract awards
* Manage risk, compliance, and contractual performance end-to-end
* Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, procurement, and project delivery
* Play a key role in shaping commercial strategy on high-value, complex programmes
What We’re Looking For
* Strong background in commercial or contract management (ideally 5+ years)
* Experience in complex, regulated, or international environments
* Ideally have experience in the Aerospace or Defence sector
* Confident negotiator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Solid understanding of contract law, compliance, and risk management alongside pricing and financials
Experience within sectors such as defence, aerospace, government, or large-scale engineering projects would be advantageous, but not essential.
