We are looking for a person with excellent clerical skills keen to join Swansea Bay University Health Board’s Nutrition and Dietetic team. You will use your clerical skills and experience to provide administrative support to the Diabetes Prevention Team.

The post is permanent, full-time (working 37.5 hours per week) and will be based in SBUHB Headquarters, Baglan.

Main duties of the job

You will be supporting the team by booking appointments, maintaining databases and supporting the evaluation of programmes as well as organising and managing resources. You will be able to demonstrate strong communication and team working skills and evidence the office experience that is essential for the role.

We offer both departmental and personal CPD time to support your development. You will be supported in attending relevant meetings.

Qualifications & Knowledge

Essential criteria

1. 5 GCSEs or equivalent, Grade C or above.
2. Level 2 or equivalent demonstrable experience/knowledge in Business Administration or similar
3. RSA II or equivalent demonstrable experience

Desirable criteria

4. ECDL or equivalent experience and or qualifications.

5. Experience of working in an administrative/office environment.

6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Ability to work to meet deadlines.
8. Ability to prioritise.
9. Ability to use Microsoft Office e.g. word/excel and virtual platforms e.g. Teams etc.
