About the Role: As a Physics Technician, you'll play a vital part in supporting the smooth delivery of practical science lessons - particularly within the physics department. You'll work alongside teachers and fellow technicians to ensure all experiments are well-prepared, safe, and engaging for students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and setting up physics practicals and demonstrations. Maintaining and organising lab equipment and resources. Supporting with risk assessments and ensuring Health & Safety (including COSHH compliance). Assisting in classrooms during practicals when required. Stock control, ordering supplies, and maintaining the prep room. What We're Looking For: Previous experience working as a Science Technician (ideally with a focus in physics). Strong understanding of secondary school science curriculums. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
