Construction Litigation Associate
London – £90,000 - £100,000
Our client is seeking a Construction Litigation solicitor to join it's esteemed Construction team on a permanent, full-time basis. The ideal candidates will possess 2 – 7 years PQE, preferably gained from another top-tier real estate/construction law firm. Please note that this role will primarily involve handling contentious construction matters.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage contentious construction matters and offer dispute advisory services, including ADR, expert determinations, adjudications, and enforcement proceedings in the TCC.
2. Address a diverse range of issues such as final account and delay claims, quality of build disputes, construction insolvency, bond claims, ACM cladding, professional indemnity, and other insurance-related claims.
3. Provide technical legal and commercial advice to clients involved in construction disputes.
4. Collaborate closely with the Development and Real Estate Finance teams, contributing to commercial and residential development schemes.
Qualifications and Skills:
5. Proven experience in senior-level work involving both contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
6. 4+ years PQE in construction litigation.
7. Detailed knowledge of adjudication practice and procedures.
8. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage client deadlines.
9. Excellent client-facing skills, operating as a 'trusted advisor.'
10. Broad technical grounding across real estate.
11. Commercial approach to problem-solving, offering innovative solutions to both the firm and clients.
12. Ability to supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members.
