We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Development Team. Part of this role will be to help embed and evolve our mobile test capabilities. Your skill set will enable you to support Hampshire County Council’s application portfolio, via both the mobile platform and our corporate web Content Management System. This role will challenge you to understand business requirements and test appropriate solutions for our customers. You will work as part of a supportive team, sharing technical knowledge and ideas, as you work together to help deliver systems that are functional, performant, scalable, tested, secure, maintainable and supportable.
As a Mobile/Web application testing consultant, your role will be pivotal in driving our mission to continuously deliver and support innovative and effective solutions via our website and mobile app for Hampshire residents. You will be at the forefront of our journey to improve our website/app, working alongside a talented team of developers and testers. You will be part of our agile development team, testing web and mobile services and ensuring that they are responsive across multiple channels, devices, browsers, and platforms.
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills. You will be able to establish effective working relationships with technical and non-technical colleagues, external suppliers, partners, customers and end users. You will need to be self-motivated, willing to take the initiative, and able to demonstrate a flexible attitude.
The complexity, responsibility and accountability will be commensurate with the grade.
