Job Description
1. Oversee a portfolio of 8 audit clients along side general accounts responsibilities.
2. Manage and deliver audit engagements from planning through to completion.
3. Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
4. Ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements.
5. Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for new business.
6. Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely and quality work.
7. Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.
8. Work closely with partners and directors on business development activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Audit & Accounts Senior should have:
1. Professional qualification in ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in a similar role within a professional services firm.
3. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
4. Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
5. Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios.
6. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
