Lead product manager

Colchester (Essex)
Farringdon
Product manager
Posted: 19 June
The role

Conveyancing in the UK is broken. Severe delays, lack of transparency, and poor client experiences are endemic. The industry is fragmented, under pressure, and struggling to cope with growing complexity.

Farringdon is changing that. We are a fully regulated conveyancing law firm built from the ground up around AI — designed to make one of the most stressful experiences in people's lives faster, clearer, and less opaque.

We're looking for our first Product Manager.

You'll own the roadmap for a legal AI agent that handles the slow, grinding work of conveyancing: the drafting, the chasing, the checking. Your first milestone is giving conveyancers back the time they spend on process — so they can focus on the judgement and client care that actually needs them.

What you will do:

  • Translate the product vision into a sequenced roadmap with clear trade-offs, milestones and decision points.
  • Experiment with frontier AI models and translate emerging capabilities into practical, production-ready use cases
  • Own understanding of different customer segments — shadowing conveyancers on live files, interviewing Buyers, Sellers and Referring Partners during and after transactions.
  • Own the end-to-end customer journey - covering every touchpoint customers encounter, from application interfaces they use to the communications they receive and the moments where the AI hands off to a human
  • Prototype and validate ideas quickly, with the confidence to write code, test solutions, and ship early versions of products
  • Continuously improve how we build products by leveraging AI tools, rapid experimentation, and modern product development practices

What we are looking for:

  • You've built agentic products with human-in-the-loop workflows, ideally in multi-sided platforms.
  • Early startup PM before — you've translated a founder's vision into a roadmap.
  • Strong qualitative researcher: interviews, observation, synthesis.
  • AI-first builder: comfortable using design and coding agents to prototype or ship features.
  • You work well in ambiguity — you don't wait for the answer to appear; you have a process for finding it.
  • You writes clearly: problem statements, briefs, and synthesis docs that people can act on.
  • You hold the strategic and the detail question at the same time.

What we offer:

The team behind Farringdon built the technology that powers 1 in 10 residential property transactions in the UK today. This is a founding hire with meaningful equity, real ownership, and the chance to build something from the ground up alongside people who know this industry and care deeply about changing it.

  • Competitive salary and equity
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Central London office with panoramic views
  • Regular team lunches, socials, and barista coffee
