We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Global Logistics student to join our innovative team in Hinckley. This is a unique opportunity for a student to develop and test a broad range of skills in a thriving environment. The global Logistics team is responsible for the management of all Triumphs logistics providers, this covers air, sea, road and warehousing. From day one you will become an active team member. The role covers numerous areas of Logistics providing a truly global overview of the business and allowing candidates to work on complex and exciting projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provider Management:
1. Creating a positive working relationship with third party logistics companies.
2. Supporting the achievement of performance and commercial KPIs.
3. Driving continuous improvement.
4. Defining, agreeing and documenting required processes and standards.
5. Supporting day to day activities.
6. Working closely with the freight team to gain operational understanding.
7. Ensuring regular meetings with SPLC’s are carried out.
Project Management:
8. Supporting the delivery of opportunities and translating ideas into a project plan to deliver benefit.
9. Managing and diving projects to conclusions
10. Supporting wider Global Logistics projects.
