Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated staff nurse with a passion for, and a clear vision for stroke care to join our stroke team in the Western Isles. This post can be based in Uist & Barra Community or at Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality stroke nursing care within the 15‑hour weekly contract.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
* Organise and manage workload, ensuring timely and efficient service.
* Apply and support the team’s knowledge of policy, procedures, and national targets.
Qualifications
* Registered Adult Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
* Substantial post‑registration experience in stroke care, or degree‑level education combined with evidence of relevant Band 5 experience.
* Strong communication, organisational and time‑management skills.
Benefits
