Salary: £18,000 - 18,000 per year Requirements: We are seeking a Lead Service Designer with proven experience in service design, ideally within Government Digital Service (GDS) frameworks. You must have previously worked for a central government client and possess a strong background in stakeholder management, communication, and business engagement. Experience in interaction design is essential, and familiarity with HR transformation or HR service environments is desirable. You should be skilled in identifying user needs and translating them into actionable service improvements, as well as comfortable navigating complex organizational structures and driving change. Responsibilities: In this pivotal role, I will lead the design of HR services aligned with GDS standards. I will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand service pain points and opportunities while evaluating and redesigning existing HR contact routes into a unified digital portal. My responsibility will include shaping and refining a tiered HR service desk model and translating business needs into a ServiceNow-based service catalogue and digital experience. I will drive stakeholder engagement and behavioral change across the organization, mentor and guide team members in service design best practices, support demand management and query service functions, and contribute to strategic goals such as automation and headcount reduction through service efficiency.
