Our Marine department, situated in Findon Shore, Aberdeen, presents a fantastic opportunity for you to join our fire protection team as the Lead Service Technician. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance of our fire protection equipment for Marine clients whose vessels frequent ports across the UK. Apply today to embark on this exciting journey What You Can Expect from the Role Key Responsibilities and accountabilities: Perform servicing, installation, maintenance, and repair tasks adhering to quality and safety protocols. Present a professional image of Survitec during customer engagements, handling technical queries effectively. Aid in the setup and testing of new products or procedures. Carry out preventive maintenance checks and pinpoint repair needs. Collaborate with the Service Operations Manager to organize monthly schedules and ensure sufficient staffing levels. Maintain precise stock records and adhere to requisition procedures. Supervise a team of apprentice/junior technicians, providing leadership and guidance. The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have Essential Criteria: Prior experience in a similar role Strong understanding of portable fire extinguishers Strong understanding of breathing apparatus Proficient in fire suppression systems (CO2, Novec, FM-200) Background in the marine industry is beneficial.
