As Yard Person, you will report directly to the Foreman Fitter. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the yard and workshops are kept clean and tidy at all times. You will assist with general workshop duties when required as well as ensuring that equipment is steam cleaned and re-fuelled prior to being dispatched to our customers. You will be involved with the loading and un-loading of vehicles and will be expected to use the depot fork lift truck as and when required. Fork lift training would be provided however, a current forklift licence or previous experience would be beneficial to any individual applying for this position.
