Job Description
This role involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients, including:
1. Companionship: Being a friendly face and preventing loneliness through engaging conversations, activities, and outings.
2. Personal Care: Assisting with all aspects of personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while maintaining the client's dignity and privacy.
3. Medication Management: Collecting prescriptions, providing reminders, and assisting with medication administration as per care plans.
4. Nutrition and Mealtimes: Preparing tasty, nutritious meals considering dietary needs and assisting with feeding when necessary.
5. Housekeeping: Keeping the client's home clean and tidy, including light cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
6. Mobility Assistance: Supporting safe movement, transfers, walking, and use of mobility aids.
7. Health Monitoring: Observing and reporting changes in physical or mental health to healthcare professionals and family.
8. Social Inclusion: Encouraging participation in community activities and maintaining connections with family and friends.
9. Emotional Support: Providing empathetic listening, reassurance, and companionship to clients experiencing anxiety or distress.
10. Documentation: Keeping accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition.
11. Safety and Emergency Response: Ensuring a safe environment, recognizing hazards, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
12. Collaboration: Working effectively with care team members, healthcare professionals, and family to deliver consistent care.

Qualifications
While previous experience isn't necessary, you should demonstrate:

* A driving license and access to a vehicle (especially in rural areas)
