Overview
Are you a skilled leader with a passion for efficient project management? Wernick Construction is seeking a dedicated Contracts Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of site activities, ensuring projects are executed correctly, efficiently, and within budget.
Responsibilities
* To raise monthly valuations final accounts and obtain payment certificates
* Handle extensions to contract, liquidated damages and loss and expense claims
* To keep contracts on programme
* To maintain all office administration procedures and ensure that they are in accordance with Quality Assurance Procedures.
* To, at all times, keep your knowledge of Buildings Regulations and contract procedures up to date. April 2015 Page 2 of 2
* To ensure you maintain own level of education and qualifications appropriate for a Contracts Manager. Submission of weekly Contracts Managers Report.
* Maintain knowledge of forms of contract in common use
* Make reports as may be required
* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015
* To ensure that, at all times, contracts are run in an efficient and profitable manner
* Maintain a good working relationship between the department and Client/other departments within the group.
* To work within all Wernick policies - e.g. Environmental, Equal Opportunities etc.
Qualifications
* SMSTS
* Full drivers licence
* CSCS Card (Black/White)
* First Aid at Works
* A working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
* Must be prepared to stay away from home as and when required
* IT Literate including Microsoft Project
