Compliance Caretaker
Fenton Industrial Estate, Stoke-on-Trent, covering Staffordshire and Cheshire
£25,400 - £26,737 per year
40 hours per week - Monday to Friday
We have an opportunity for a Caretaker to join our Estate Services team based in Stoke-on-Trent. As a Compliance Caretaker, you will test fire alarms, ELT, and water systems across our schemes and sites around Staffordshire. The role involves lone working, so self-motivation, proficiency with spreadsheets, and technological skills are essential.
Responsibilities include:
* Carrying out risk assessments to identify and report potential maintenance issues, supporting safe environments and planned maintenance programs.
* Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition, using them in line with policies, procedures, and regulations, and promptly reporting faults or hazards.
* Providing accurate, timely updates on work progress and advice that is easily understood by customers, and maintaining detailed daily work records.
* Ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Skills and Experience:
* Experience in a similar role or related tasks.
* Practical experience with hand tools and light machinery.
* Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
* Good communication and customer care skills.
* Valid UK driving license, as the role involves driving company vehicles.
