Key Responsibilities Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering well‑structured and engaging lessons Cover key curriculum areas including programming, algorithms, data handling, cybersecurity and computational thinking Plan, deliver and assess learning in line with school and national expectations Support pupils of mixed abilities, ensuring progress through clear explanations and differentiated tasks Maintain a purposeful, well‑managed classroom environment Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement Provide meaningful feedback to help pupils achieve their potential Take part in wider school duties, meetings, parents' evenings and CPD Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and related technologies Ability to motivate and challenge learners through creative and practical teaching approaches Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Confident classroom management and strong communication skills Why Work With Simply Education?
