Responsibilities
Dematic Software is seeking a frontend developer to work in our Manchester office. You will perform the full lifecycle of frontend development, including collaboration with the UX team for design, development, testing, and support. As part of the R&D team, you will help develop a new UI platform and standardised UI building blocks used by all projects, including customer solutions and internal tools across Dematic. You may also assist in leading the developers on the team by reviewing code and setting an example.

Essential Skills
* Able to influence technological direction of the team
* Ability to mentor junior developers on the team
* In-depth knowledge and experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
* In-depth knowledge and experience with any major UI framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
* Strong proficiency in HTML5
* Strong proficiency in CSS / Sass / Less
* Experience with web bundlers (Webpack, Parcel etc.)
* Experience using Git
* Experience in Unix-based environments
* Have an eye for what looks good
* Self-starter with the desire to learn and improve
* Fluent in English (spoken and written)
* A team player with a desire to learn more
* You like a challenge and are willing to take responsibility
Desirable Skills
* Prototyping and Wireframing
* Experience using JavaScript testing frameworks (Jest, QUnit etc.)
