Spire Clare Park are currently recruiting for a Practicing Privileges Co-ordinator. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating Consultants practising privileges ensuring the Hospital adheres to the regulatory and governance guidelines.
Spire Clare Park is an elective hospital situated in Farnham that has recently been rated as good by the CQC. We offer a range of surgical specialties, which includes: Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Cosmetics, Urology, Dermatology and ENT.
Duties and responsibilities:
Proactively communicate with Consultants to ensure accurate/up to date paperwork is obtained/uploaded to SAP within required deadline.
Address any non-compliance promptly and support HD/DoCS with suspension/lapse process.
Maintain awareness of any suspension/withdrawal of Consultant PPs and ensure database/SAP updated accordingly.
Support the Consultant Biennial Review process to ensure necessary paperwork is available in advance of quarterly MAC meetings.
Be aware that failure to maintain up-to-date records may result in adverse comments in the event of a regulatory inspection.
Ensure the weekly compliant report is 100% for the hospital. Who we're looking for:
Proven experience in an administrative, project or secretarial role
A touch-typing speed of at least 50wpm
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
A good level of education to at least O Level/GCSE standard
Good verbal communication skills
Good business writing skills
Attention to detail
