Job Summary
Due to our recent expansion and growing numbers we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. You will be responsible for implementing engaging educational activities that promote the development of essential skills in early childhood. Your expertise in childcare and early childhood education will be vital in supporting the growth and learning of each child in our care.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver age-appropriate educational programmes that meet the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
* Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that encourages exploration and learning.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers on their development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive interactions among children.
* Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and well-being.
* Engage with parents and families to build strong relationships and support their involvement in their child's learning journey.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery standards.
Skills
* Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery environment.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
