Winner Education is actively recruiting dedicated and passionate Teachers to join a well-established school that provides specialist placements for children with special educational needs (SEN). This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position, ideal for professionals who are committed to nurturing and empowering children to achieve their full potential.
LOCATION: Cheshire CH3 HOURS: Full-time Monday Friday 08 30 START DATE: ASAP SALARY: £160 £210 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications) Key Responsibilities: Specialist Teaching and Learning:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pre-verbal students with a range of SEN needs.
* Utilise assessment effectively to support academic progress and emotional development.
* Create a stimulating, inclusive learning environment that meets a variety of complex needs.
* Advocate for your pupils' individual needs throughout the wider school setting.
* Design and implement a bespoke, thematic curriculum that aligns with students interests while meeting their academic and social development goals.
* Contribute to consistent teaching and learning practices, including behaviour management and assessment strategies, in line with school policies.
* Monitor and report on pupil attendance and punctuality promptly.
* Lead and support a team of HLTAs, TAs, and external specialists to maximise pupil progress.
* Develop systems for recording and sharing specialist interventions (e.g. SaLT, communication and interaction support).
* Collaborate with the SENCo and Assistant SENCo on the creation and review of EHC Plans and SEN Support documentation.
* Deliver personalised 1:1 or small group tuition to pupils requiring additional support.
Classroom & Resource Management:
* Design and maintain an engaging classroom environment, including purposeful displays, learning zones, and 1:1 spaces.
* Manage a delegated classroom budget effectively, ensuring appropriate learning resources and equipment are available for teaching and SEND support.
Supporting Families & the Wider Community:
* Foster strong, supportive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed on pupil progress, behaviour, and wellbeing.
* Coordinate and deliver welcoming events for current and prospective families to engage with the school community.
* Provide guidance to families on accessing educational and external support services.
* Collaborate with external agencies such as Social Care, CAMHS, NHS services, Educational Psychologists, and others as needed.
Professional Development & Whole-School Contribution:
* Actively participate in the school s performance management, CPD, and supervision processes.
* Take responsibility for your own continuous professional development.
* Engage in regular reflective practice and share insights to drive improvement across the school.

o Daily Debriefs 15 40
