Lumina is seeking a Solar Sales Consultant to support our Residential team in Pennsylvania. You will educate customers on solar energy benefits through consultations using both company-provided and self-sourced leads.
Your role includes overseeing the customer’s solar project from sale to post-installation, ensuring a seamless experience and representing Lumina Solar with high standards of customer service and project execution.
You will:
1. Perform virtual or in-home solar consultations with leads
2. Deliver compelling presentations to encourage immediate purchase
3. Conduct needs assessments and analyses using design software
4. Explain technical aspects, installation, financing, and savings
5. Coordinate with permitting, operations, and installation teams
6. Manage projects from sale to installation with ongoing communication
7. Maintain accurate CRM data
8. Verify post-installation tasks and inspections
9. Build strong customer relationships for satisfaction, reviews, and referrals
10. Generate leads through social media, canvassing, and networking
11. Follow up on pipeline opportunities in CRM
12. Maintain a clear sales pipeline
13. Address concerns and challenges
14. Share best practices with team members
15. Participate in community and industry events
16. Stay informed on market trends, incentives, and products
17. Engage in ongoing training to enhance skills
18. Meet or exceed sales quotas
19. Participate in company events and meetings
On your first day, you'll need:
1. Proven outside sales experience, preferably in solar or renewable energy
2. Experience in in-home sales
3. Strong organizational and time-management skills
4. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
5. Ability to work with cross-functional teams
6. Customer-focused attitude
7. Self-motivation to achieve targets
8. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
9. Proficiency with CRM and sales tools
10. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or related field
11. Ability to pass a background check
12. Valid driver’s license
Compensation:
* Base of $2,500/month for four months
* Transition to 100% commission with a $2,500 monthly draw offset by commissions
