Job Description Instrumentation Engineer Full time Barnoldswick What you will be doing: An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an Instrumentation Engineer, within the Manufacturing Services Dept in Barnoldswick. Responsibilities: As a member of the Instrumentation team your key accountabilities, whilst not exhaustive will include: Maintenance / repair of vacuum furnaces / hot creep form press controllers. The interpretation of OEM drawings to diagnose and solve problems. Knowledge of control systems associated with vacuum furnaces and heat treatment ovens. AMS2750E heat treatment spec to NADCAP standards. Calibration requirements of all control instrumentation, pressure gauges, direct indicating gauges, transducers and vacuum. Documentation control – gauge insite. Understanding of Eurotherm Instruments. Work within a small multi-disciplined team. The flexibility to undertake other tasks / activities when required. To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria: You must have served a recognised engineering apprenticeship * or possess relevant engineering skills. Minimum qualification - City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering. Computer literate. You should be a pro-active individual that is capable of managing time / resource effectively. *Please attach a copy of your certificate as proof of completing a recognised apprenticeship together with/next to your CV.
