Regional Director / Head of Project Management (Manchester & Leeds)

We’re partnering with a leading UK consultancy that advises on commercial property, development, and built asset projects.
Known for combining technical expertise with commercial insight, they work with major investors, developers, and occupiers across the UK. They are now looking for an experienced Regional Director / Head of Project Management to lead and grow their service line across Manchester and Leeds. This is a strategic, hands-on role with a clear focus on business development, client relationships, and team leadership.
What the Role Involves
As Regional Director, you will:
* Lead and grow the project management service line across two key northern offices.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing institutional clients, while leveraging your own client baseto generate new business.
* Deliver high-profile projects across sectors including industrial, office, purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), and build-to-rent (BTR).
* Collaborate closely with senior leadership, supporting the UK-wide service line strategy and aligning with office objectives.
* Coordinate business development, marketing, resourcing, and knowledge sharing across the team.
* Champion operational excellence and best practice, driving improvements in processes, templates, and quality control.
* Mentor, coach, and develop your team, ensuring both delivery quality and career progression.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
* A relevant degree (or equivalent) and MRICS.
* Extensive experience in commercial property project management, including hands-on delivery and client-facing consultancy.
* A strong track record of leadership, managing teams and multi-office operations.
* An existing client network to generate fee income and support business growth.
* Excellent commercial awareness, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver consistent results.
