Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled 360 excavator operator to assist us on a total Demolition Project in the Aylesford area. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to assist with excavation of trial pits to identify locations and foundations on site. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and safe operating procedures, ensuring efficient progress on various construction projects. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with relevant experience to contribute to large-scale infrastructure developments.
Duties
* Operate 360 excavators safely and efficiently across multiple construction sites.
* Assist with site clearance, trenching, digging, and loading materials as required.
* Conduct routine inspections of the excavator to ensure optimal functioning and report any faults or maintenance needs.
* Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
* Collaborate with other team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage.
* Support logistical operations involving the transportation of materials using commercial driving skills when necessary.
Skills
* Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a construction environment.
* Mechanical knowledge to understand machine components and perform basic troubleshooting.
* Strong awareness of safety protocols and procedures related to heavy machinery operation.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
