ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEERElevation Recruitment Group have an exciting opportunity to join a well-invested, process manufacturing business within the food/FMCG industry. With significant capital investment underway and more in the pipeline, they're looking to strengthen their projects capability with the addition of a Electrical Project Engineer.Reporting into the Projects Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering site-based engineering projects from concept through to commissioning. It's a hands-on role with real ownership, variety and visibility across the wider engineering and operations teams.The RoleYou'll be involved across the full project lifecycle, supporting a busy and expanding production facility. Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for:Managing projects from initial concept and design through installation, commissioning, training and handoverProducing and maintaining project documentation including design packs, drawings, risk assessments and authority applicationsCoordinating consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal engineering and operations teamsActing as the main point of contact for site-based project activity, chairing meetings and driving progressSurveying site conditions and developing practical, buildable design solutionsManaging and updating plant and process drawings, ensuring strong control of revisionsIdentifying engineering improvements to enhance safety, reliability and efficiencySupporting SHE objectives and contributing to the wider needs of a fast-paced manufacturing siteWhat We're Looking ForYou'll be a technically strong engineer who enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish and isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up when needed.Professional qualification(s) in Electrical Engineering essential (HND/Degree level)Proven experience delivering projects in an FMCG, Chemical or Process Engineering environmentStrong AutoCAD 2D/3D capability (Inventor experience beneficial)Working knowledge of ATEX, COPEX advantageous Experience with process pipeworkConfident managing multiple projects and competing prioritiesPractical, adaptable and comfortable working on a mix of large and small projectsStrong communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships across siteWhat's On Offer40-hour working week, Monday to Friday33 days holiday including bank holidaysGenerous pension schemePrivate healthcareLife assuranceThis is a solid role for a Project Engineer who wants long-term stability, genuine investment in engineering, and the chance to make a real impact on a growing UK manufacturing operation.
