What you will do: Undertake timely Best Interests Assessments in line with the Mental Capacity Act and DoLS legislation. Complete high-quality, evidence-based assessments and reports. Requirements: Qualified Professional: Qualified Social Worker, Nurse, OT, or Psychologist with BIA qualification. Experience: Experience completing DoLS assessments within a local authority setting. Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS). Autonomous Working: Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities. Analytical Skills: Excellent report-writing and analytical skills. Technical Skills: Familiarity with Liquid Logic or similar case management systems is desirable.
