What you'll be doing
* Providing telephone, site engineering technical support and diagnostics on mechanical and electrical components
* Interrogation of PLCs and software in order to fault find (Omron, InTouch, Wonderware, B&R)
* Onsite visits and servicing (preventative and reactive breakdown maintenance)
* Project work installation and commissioning of new machinery
* Propose solution for modification to existing products and to rectify ongoing issues
* Testing new machinery prior to installation within the workshop
* Liaising with clients at management to board level
* Travelling throughout the UK, Ireland and occasionally International
* This role will require weekly travel within the UK to visit client sites.
What you'll bring
* Experienced multi‑skilled (electrical bias) Service Engineer used to providing ongoing technical support to clients
* Sound engineering knowledge and ideally previous experience working with manufacturing and/or print machinery; you will have basic knowledge of PLCs
* Have excellent organisation and communication skills.
* Valid UK driving licence is required.
