We are recruiting a proactive Hygiene Shift Manager to lead hygiene operations and maintain high standards in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment. You'll oversee a dedicated team, drive improvements, and help ensure a safe and compliant site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead daily hygiene operations, ensuring consistently high cleaning and food safety standards.
* Complete all hygiene, compliance and audit documentation accurately and on time.
* Conduct routine site inspections, delivering audits and driving corrective and preventative actions.
* Manage contamination incidents, pest issues and reactive hygiene requests within agreed service levels.
* Ensure full adherence to site safety, regulatory requirements and hygiene procedures.
* Maintain and update hygiene schedules, risk assessments, SOPs and training records.
* Manage hygiene resources, including equipment, PPE, staffing levels and cost control.
* Lead, train and develop hygiene team members, overseeing performance, attendance and workload planning.
* Communicate effectively through briefings and toolbox talks while prioritising tasks to support operational needs.
Required Qualifications or Experience:
* Experience within a food hygiene/production environment.
* Good attitude and character to contribute to the team and client successes.
* Strong communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
* Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification would be highly desired.
