Job Title: SEN Tutor

£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide specialised academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create tailored learning plans based on individual student needs and learning styles
* Implement strategies to help students overcome learning barriers and achieve academic goals
* Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student development
Required Qualifications:
* Recognised teaching qualification
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Knowledge of SEN educational strategies and best practises
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience working in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN code of practise
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
* Additional training in specific SEN areas
Working Conditions:
The role involves working on a temporary, part-time basis, providing support to students with SEN. The work may require flexibility in working hours and locations, including travel to various educational settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
