The Outpatient Pharmacy Department at East Lancashire Hospital NHS Trust is delighted to offer a vacancy for a Pharmacy Dispenser.

Responsibilities
* Dispensing medications
* Stock control, rotation and expiry date checking, and use of the Pharmacy IT System
* Providing an effective reception service, receiving incoming work and dealing with customer enquiries
* Maintaining stock of dispensing sundries and carrying out housekeeping duties to maintain good environmental standards
* Supporting the training and development of the pharmacy team
On a day-to-day basis, your duties will vary and help provide a high-quality service to our patients, including customer service, dispensing medicines and ordering and receiving pharmacy stock.
Core hours of duty are an 8‑hour shift from 9 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Applicants will be expected to participate in weekend work (Saturday only) on a rota basis.
This role is based in Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
