We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team and ensure the smooth operation of our store. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and implementing merchandising strategies to enhance the shopping experience.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
* Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets and maximise profitability.
* Maintain high standards of merchandising, ensuring products are displayed attractively and in accordance with brand guidelines.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering stock and conducting regular stocktakes to minimise shrinkage.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
* Conduct regular training sessions for staff to enhance product knowledge and improve sales techniques.
* Prepare reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and staff performance for management review.
* Ensure the store is clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times.
Requirements
* Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
* Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
* Demonstrated experience in sales management with a track record of achieving targets.
* Strong organisational skills with effective time management capabilities.
* Proficient in merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility and appeal.
* Administrative experience is beneficial for managing reports and documentation effectively.
