Main duties of the job
What were looking for:
* A flexible, dedicated and proactive nurse with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
* Experience in telephone triage and assessment of minor illness/injury
* Independent prescribing is desirable, but not essential
* Experience in chronic disease management, immunisations, cervical cytology, dressings and injections is desirable - but full training will be provided if needed

Job summary:
The post holder is a caring, committed andexperienced nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, willprovide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinicalassessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstratesafe, competent clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment,diagnostic skills and prescribing, for patients within the general practice.
The post holder will commit todemonstrating critical thinking in the safe clinical decision-making process.They will communicate and work collaboratively with the general practice teamto meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures

Person Specification
Experience
