IT Technician
Essex Pay Scale 5 (pt 9-12), includes Outer Fringe Allowance
£27,983 - £29,327 per annum
Please note that a £2,000 recruitment allowance (pro‑rated if part‑time) will be payable in three instalments (termly) upon a successful probationary period (26 weeks).
37 hours per week / 52 weeks per annum
08:00-16:00 (Monday-Thursday), 08:00-15:30 (Friday).
However, part‑time hours will be considered for the right candidate.
Based at St Martin's School in Brentwood.
The prime function of the IT Technician is to ensure that all IT networks and facilities are correctly supported and maintained to improve the quality of IT provision available to students and staff.

St Martin's is a large co‑educational comprehensive school located in Hutton, Brentwood. The school benefits from a pleasant semi‑rural environment with agricultural land to the rear. The large sixth‑form block sits on an open, attractive 30‑acre site. Parking is available on‑site and there are good transport links by both rail and bus. Hutton is five miles from the M25 and 19 miles from London, easily reached by road or train (25 minutes to Liverpool Street Station).
This is a large, but friendly school in which all staff are helped to develop their talents. An extensive and wide‑ranging in‑house continual professional development programme (CPD) is supported, with high‑quality mentoring and induction programmes for staff, offering excellent opportunities for training and professional development.
