The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support to lawyers and legal professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of the office. Duties * Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports with precision. * Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for legal staff. * Conduct audio typing of dictations and transcribe legal documents accurately. * Maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring all documents are organised and easily accessible. * Assist with the preparation of case files and documentation for court proceedings. * Liaise with clients, courts, and other legal professionals in a professional manner. * Utilise IT systems to manage data entry and maintain accurate records. * Perform general office duties such as answering phones, managing emails, and ordering supplies. Skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential. * Strong audio typing skills with a high level of accuracy. * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Effective time management skills to meet deadlines in a busy environment. * Strong administrative capabilities with attention to detail. * A good understanding of legal terminology is advantageous but not essential. * IT literacy to navigate various software applications efficiently
