Due to our continued growth plans, we are looking to hire an End User Computing Engineer to ensure our customers can access the digital platforms they need to be productive. There is no legacy on-premises data centres or servers, a true cloud ecosystem. If you are passionate about building and improving the tools our people use, we want to hear from you Job Purpose As the End User Computing Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of end user computing solutions. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in IT operations, end-user computing, and cloud technologies. You should also have excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders. Key Duties and Responsibilities Development: Lead the design and development of end user compute solutions using various technologies, such as Windows Operating Systems, Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, etc. Innovation: Manage the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of end user devices, such as laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, printers, etc. Customisation: Manage the configuration and administration of end user applications, such as email, collaboration tools, cloud applications, etc. Testing and QA : Lifecycle management of all end user devices, keeping them supported, patched and secured. Data Management: Implement data quality measures and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within CRM systems. User Training: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the Service Desk on end user computing technologies, tools, and best practices. Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to understand the requirements and specifications of end user computing projects. Documentation: Research and evaluate new end user computing technologies and trends to improve existing services. Service Management: Resolve escalated incidents and service requests, creating knowledge articles and managing problems. Best Practices: Create and update documentation for end user computing systems and processes. Personal Specification (Skills & Experience) Essential: Proven experience in end user computing engineering or support Proficiency in end user computing technologies such as Windows, Office 365, Azure AD, Intune, etc. Experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell. Experience in ITIL processes such as incident management and change management. Ability to build trusted relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Desirable: Certification in end user computing or cloud technologies. Experience with Cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS ITIL Foundation Managing end user computing operations in a multi-site environment. Experience in deploying and maintaining enterprise-scale business applications.
