Pensions Administrator
Bristol (Office-based with hybrid flexibility)
Full-time | 35 hours per week
£27,000 – £31,000
Are you an experienced pensions professional looking for your next move? We’re working with a well-established and growing financial services firm in Bristol that’s looking to add a Pensions Admin to their expanding team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, forward-thinking environment where you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality administration across a portfolio of circa 100 workplace pension and group risk schemes.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day administration of Workplace Pension schemes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and exceptional service delivery at every stage.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing ongoing administration of Workplace Pension schemes
* Liaising with employers and payroll providers to ensure timely monthly contribution submissions
* Processing, reconciling and maintaining accurate scheme records
* Supporting auto-enrolment duties, including re-enrolment and re-declaration of compliance
* Assisting with annual scheme reviews and reporting
* Administering Group Life, Group Income Protection and Group Private Medical schemes (including renewals and re-broking)
* Preparing employer and member presentation materials
* Supporting investment instructions and reconciliations
You’ll also collaborate closely with client relationship teams, helping to identify opportunities within existing schemes and supporting information gathering for pension consolidation work.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in pensions administration (or within a similar financial services environment)
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Confident communicator, both written and verbal
* Working towards (or keen to start) relevant industry qualifications
* Proactive, adaptable and able to manage your own workload once trained
Full training on systems and processes will be provided, but you’ll be trusted to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities.
