Overview
Assistant Caretaker – Stroud, Gloucestershire. Permanent, full-time preferred, but part-time can be considered. Salary: Grade 5 Points 11-14 (£28,142-£29,540 FTE). Based at Marling School; part of Cotswold Beacon Academy Trust (CBAT).
Start Date: ASAP. Hours: 37 hours per week, to be agreed with successful applicant, with hours between 6am and 8pm, 5 days per week. Based at Marling School but part of a wider family of CBAT schools with opportunities for career development.
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Assistant Caretaker to join our Site Team at Marling School. The role supports education by maintaining a clean, safe and secure site, with full training provided. You will be methodical with strong attention to detail, able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Start Date – ASAP; interview dates on a rolling basis as suitable candidates apply.
Responsibilities
* Maintain a clean, safe and secure site for the school.
* Work on a variety of outdoor tasks as part of an energetic site team.
* Follow health and safety requirements and ensure safe working practices.
* Work on your own initiative and as part of a team to complete tasks to a high standard.
* Contribute to the wider CBAT schools network and support school life where appropriate.
Qualifications / Skills
* Willingness to complete a wide variety of tasks to a high standard.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure using initiative.
* Understanding of the importance of Health & Safety.
* A calm, flexible approach.
