Job Title: Site Engineer Rising Main Replacement Works Location: Hertfordshire, Essex, North London Salary to £40k package My client, a leading civil egineering contractor is seeking an experienced and motivatedSite Engineerto support the delivery of Rising Main Replacement Workswithin a live infrastructure environment. The successful Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications and programme requirements. Key Responsibilities Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project drawings and specifications. Overseeing installation of new rising mains including associated civil works. Coordinating site activities with subcontractors, supervisors, and the project management team. Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Preparing and maintaining accurate site records including daily diaries, as-built drawings, and QA documentation. Liaising with designers, utility providers, and local authorities where required. Assisting with progress reporting and programme updates. Requirements Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Proven experience working as a Site Engineeron utilities, water, drainage, or pipeline projects. Experience with rising main installation or replacementworks is highly desirable. Strong setting out skills and proficiency with surveying equipment (e.g. Total Station, GPS). Knowledge of health and safety regulations and site procedures. Excellent communication and organisational skills. CSCS card (required). SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable).
