What does the job involve?
A typical working day could include:
* Providing a bookkeeping service for a wide range of clients including sales, purchase and nominal ledger maintenance/processing
* Bank reconciliations
* VAT return preparation
* Advising clients on the use of accounting software
* Communicating with clients and managing their queries
* Preparing reports for clients
What do you need to bring to the table?
Ideally, we would like you to have:
* Strong experience of managing ledgers and preparing reconciliations
* Confidence with accounting software
* Customer service experience and the ability to develop strong working relationships with clients
* The ability to work unaided to strict deadlines
AAT level 4 qualification would be preferred, if not qualified to level 4 AAT we would expect the right candidate to be qualified by experience.
