Job Description Senior Conveyancer £50,000 DOE Peterborough Job Summary My Client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively while communicating clearly with clients and stakeholders. As a Conveyancer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating property transactions, ensuring that all legal requirements are met efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities Manage the conveyancing process from start to finish, including drafting contracts and conducting property searches. Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other legal professionals to ensure smooth communication throughout the transaction. Prepare and review legal documents related to property transfers, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Maintain accurate records of transactions and client communications using IT systems. Provide clients with updates on their cases, addressing any queries or concerns promptly. Conduct due diligence on properties, including title checks and identifying any potential issues that may affect the sale or purchase. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure best practices are followed within the team. Requirements Proven experience in conveyancing or a related legal field is preferred. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and professionals. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Highly organised with a keen attention to detail in all aspects of work. Proficient in IT systems relevant to conveyancing processes; familiarity with case management software is advantageous. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
