We are seeking a flexible, enthusiastic, and experienced PPA Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wolverhampton, starting as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality cover lessons across Key Stages 1 and 2 while maintaining continuity of learning and supporting pupils’ progress.

The Role
As a PPA Teacher, you will provide cover across a range of classes during teachers’ PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time. You will deliver pre-planned lessons or adapt schemes of work as necessary to ensure that pupils continue to progress in line with their curriculum goals. You will maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment and support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
You will work collaboratively with class teachers, teaching assistants, and senior leaders to ensure consistency across the school and uphold high expectations for behaviour and learning. Effective communication with teachers and staff is essential to provide feedback on pupil engagement, progress, and any additional support required.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality lessons across KS1 and KS2 during PPA periods
* Follow schemes of work and lesson plans, adapting as needed
* Maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
* Promote independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Collaborate effectively with teachers, teaching assistants, and senior leaders
* Provide clear feedback on pupil progress, engagement, and behaviour
* Contribute to staff meetings, CPD sessions, and school initiatives
* Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures at all times

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching across multiple Key Stages, ideally KS1 and KS2
