As a key part of a global network, this UK-based business is thriving with a turnover exceeding €1 billion, serving diverse markets.Location: Flexible UK home-based, with occasional travel to Midlands and LondonKey Responsibilities:Financial Management: Take charge of billing, debt recovery, and cash collection for the UK operations, reporting to the Finance Director. Lead a team across the UK, and 2 other sites 1 in the middle east and the other in Europe, managing a debt portfolio of £200 million and achieving monthly cash targets up to £220 million.Cash Collections: Collaborate with the Cash Collections Manager to oversee cash forecasting and reporting, manage debtor KPIs, resolve disputes, and provide credit risk advice.Debt Recovery/Litigation: Aim to reduce litigation by resolving disputes early, provide expert advice to project leaders, manage legal actions against supplier accounts, and handle insolvency cases.Cash Application: Oversee cash application processes, ensuring adherence to group policies and meeting KPIs, with a focus on the team based in the middle east.Project Accounting: Manage UK project billing and analysis, supporting teams across the globe, and work towards automating billing processes.Service Delivery: Support UK operations with project administration, manage opportunity databases, and produce various reports.Professional Skills:Strong interpersonal abilities and ease in interacting with senior team members.Prior experience in consultancy, particularly engineering consultancy, is highly beneficial.Familiarity with systems like JD Edwards and Oracle EBS is advantageous.Capable of thriving in a dynamic environment, with excellent leadership, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.Package :Salary up to £75kRemoteCar allowanceBonusGrowing businessKey role within the organisation
