We’re currently partnering with a successful pharmaceutical company looking to recruit a Senior or Principal Scientist specialising in Transcriptomics.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the interface of pharmaceutical research and early clinical development, supporting innovative drug development programmes including antibodies & gene therapies. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative Biomarker Assay Sciences team, contributing across the drug discovery pipeline.
Responsibilities:
* Leading the design and execution of transcriptomics (RNA-seq) and high-plex proteomics assays
* Acting as a subject matter expert, working cross-functionally and with external CRO partners
* Contributing to data analysis, interpretation, and presentation to project teams
* Supporting both non-clinical and clinical studies with high-quality data delivery
Candidate profile:
* MSc or PhD in a relevant discipline
* Strong experience in transcriptomics and/or RNA sequencing workflows
* Exposure to single-cell RNA-seq and/or spatial omics
* Background in molecular biology with 5+ years’ experience (industry or academia)
* Experience with qPCR/ddPCR, proteomics, or bioinformatics
* Someone who can work independently, communicate clearly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
This role is offered on a 12-month contract with potential for extension.
