The Role: Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused Commercial Account Handler to join their Commercial Schemes Team. This role involves supporting members of the team, managing renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business for commercial clients. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day servicing of a portfolio of commercial clients Handle renewals, new business queries, and mid-term adjustments accurately and in a timely manner Provide excellent customer service and build long-term client relationships Liaise with insurers and underwriters to obtain quotes and negotiate terms Ensure all documentation is compliant with FCA regulations Maintain accurate client records and internal systems Requirements: Previous experience handling commercial insurance is essential (2 years) Good knowledge of commercial insurance products such as Motor Fleet & Commercial Combined. Proficiency in insurance broking software (Acturis is a plus) Cert CII qualified or working towards it preferred A good level of technical insurance skills, to be assessed by regular in-house testing. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to process work quickly and efficiently. Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines. Excellent client service skills. Good negotiation and broking skills. Ability to gather and analyse information from the client. Ability to identify and respond appropriately to an individual client’s level of understanding. Ability to persuade and influence others.
