We're recruiting for a Training, Compliance & Safety Officer to join a well established food production business in Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a health & safety professional who enjoys a varied role, combining compliance, training delivery, auditing and continuous improvement within a fast-paced operational environment.
You'll play a key role in maintaining site standards, driving a positive safety culture and ensuring employees are trained, competent and compliant with company and industry requirements.
The Role
As Training, Compliance & Safety Officer, you will be responsible for:
* Conducting and reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work
* Supporting health & safety compliance across the site
* Delivering training, inductions and toolbox talks
* Carrying out audits, inspections and compliance reporting
* Assisting with incident investigations and corrective actions
* Monitoring training records and competency assessments
* Supporting hygiene, welfare and operational standards
* Working closely with site management to drive continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
* IOSH qualification (essential)
* Experience delivering training within a workplace environment
* Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage employees at all levels
* Experience conducting audits, inspections or compliance checks
* Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
Desirable:
* NEBOSH qualification
* Internal auditing experience
* Experience within agriculture, food production, manufacturing or a similar operational environment
