The ideal candidate will be a native Malay speaker fluent in English or Mandarin, possessing over 10+ years of progressive experience in hospitality or elite household management. This role requires not only exceptional leadership skills to inspire and coordinate our dedicated team but also profound functional expertise in the art of private houses management / butler services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership and Coordination
* Build, lead, and inspire a talented team of household staff, fostering a culture of excellence and commitment to service.
* Guide the team in upholding the highest standards, ensuring meticulous management of every detail.
* Establish relevant SOPs to maintain “minimum acceptable standards”.
* Exemplary Butlership
* Oversee the execution of exquisite meals and sophisticated events, leveraging extensive hospitality knowledge.
* Ensure all services reflect elegance and refinement, adhering to the highest etiquette standards.
* Daily Management
* Manage household daily operations, ensuring a seamless environment of comfort and luxury.
* Develop systems for efficient management, enhancing the living experience for family and guests.
* Dining and Service Management
* Plan dining arrangements and coordinate culinary activities, managing dining supplies inventory.
* Provide exceptional service during meals and events, creating memorable experiences.
* Event Planning
* Organize and execute family events and gatherings, managing details from décor to guest experience.
* Ensure each occasion is spectacular through keen attention to detail and hospitality standards.
* Support for Family Members
* Anticipate and support the needs of family members, managing calendars, travel, and requests.
* Travel with the family as required.
* Communication and Coordination
* Maintain harmonious communication with staff and external partners, ensuring smooth estate operations.
* Address issues proactively, fostering trust and cooperation.
Job Requirements:
* Minimum 10+ years of experience in high-end hospitality or household management, with proven leadership and expertise.
* Native Malay speaker fluent in English or Mandarin.
* Strong commitment to service excellence, with attention to detail and high ethical standards.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
* Candidates with less experience but great potential may be considered for the Butler role as a starting position.
