Salary - 62,000 per annum package
£57k inc of Tronc
£5k Bonus paid quarterly

Little & Large Pub Company are looking for an exceptional and creative Head Chef for their award-winning pub, The Running Horses in Mickleham, Surrey.
The ideal candidate will come from a strong Gastro Pub & restaurant background with a passion to work only with fresh ingredients and enjoy leading a kitchen to deliver great dishes enjoyed by all.
The Running Horses is in the Top best country pubs by Sunday Times, In The good food Guide 2025 for their amazing Sunday roasts and is a much-loved Surrey institution.
The pub was restored to its former glory by the Little & Large Pub Company and won the best pub in the UK award in the year 2023 and won Surrey best pub 2025 at Pub & Bar awards.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to work in an award-winning and critically acclaimed group.
You will be working alongside our head of food to add your flare to Pub classics and new innovative more refined dishes to elevate our offering to a BIB and Rosette standard.
We would love to hear from you if you possess the following qualifications
* ·Prior experience as a Head Chef in a high-end restaurant or pub
* Enthusiastic, dynamic and ready for a new challenge.
* ·Experienced in handling high-volume service.
* ·Strong understanding of food trends and seasonal UK ingredients
* ·A creative mindset with attention to detail
* ·Proven capability to lead, train, and inspire a kitchen team
* ·Experience in managing labour costs, scheduling, and staff rotas
* ·Competence in finance, purchasing, menu pricing, controlling stock and GP
* ·Familiarity with health and safety regulations, compliance, and procedures.
* ·Able to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
